2025 Special Events

On October 5, 2024 City of Light held the Annual Blessing of Animals a traditional celebration of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals & the environment. Participants received a healing ribbon for their pet, prayer card and pet treat. Pet food & monetary donations were collected for the Chautauqua Canine Rescue Center, Lakeshore Humane Society and the Lily Dale Pet Cemetery. We will celebrate this event again on Oct 4th, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Wolf Clan Stump across from Assembly Hall on Cleveland Ave.

CITY OF LIGHT MINISTERIAL CLASSES Each month training workshops are open to anyone who wishes to explore ministerial topics. These classes are required to become a minister with City of Light Spiritualist Church.

Cat Congdon Free to All - Recommended donation of $5 per meeting greatly appreciated. This season's book will be "If Trees Could Talk -Life Lessons from the Wisdom of the Woods"
by Holly Worton. Trees are living, breathing organisms which humans are able to connect and talk to on a deeper level through silent, telepathic communication. Talking to the trees can bring us back to our true selves and can space for healing.
